Free-to-play base-building game

Last Shelter: Survival is a real-time strategy war game with a large number of players. In this game, players can take on the part of a village chief in a post-apocalyptic Earth ravaged by the Zombie apocalypse. The overall gameplay is straightforward. An alternative post-apocalyptic game is Fallout Shelter.

In humanity's final days, you must build your own wasteland empire, train your armies, recruit generals and heroes, and unite your allies in a never-ending war. It's better to start on a brand-new server in-game. If you do good, you can easily break through the top servers in a few months.

War amongst survivors

Despite the fact that it is promoted as one, Last Shelter: Survival is not a zombie apocalypse game. Zombies appear in the game but you don’t get to interact with them. The gameplay is actually between you and other players. This is similar to some of the more popular zombie TV series, such as The Walking Dead, in which the core focus is human conflict.

You must first enlarge your city and gain more technology, research, and troops to increase your overall strength. To complete this task, you'll need a range of resources, including oil, water, wood, meat, steel, fuel, and in-game currency (that can be purchased with real-world money). To keep the game free to play, microtransactions are used. Since success necessitates investment, the developers did a decent job persuading users to pay.

At the higher tiers of the game, various resources such as steel and money become very difficult to obtain. While you can play for free, your chances of success are much lower than those who fulfill in-app purchases. Other players can also steal your resources from time to time. Although your items can be taken from you, you can still target other players and loot their items, too.

More of a base-building game

Overall, you can have a lot of fun in this game however, the zombies play a minor role in the game, with the bulk of the time spent collecting resources and navigating the puzzling system of in-game currencies, as well as attempting to see the playing field through the flashy, obnoxious invites to spend on upgrades.

  • Pros

    • Supports real-time multiplayer
    • Makes use of base-building game mechanics
  • Cons

    • Prioritizes players who pay
    • Lacks interaction between zombies and players

Clean

It’s extremely likely that this software program is clean.

What does this mean?

We have scanned the file and URLs associated with this software program in more than 50 of the world's leading antivirus services; no possible threat has been detected.

Warning

This software program is potentially malicious or may contain unwanted bundled software.

Why is the software program still available?

Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.

What is a false positive?

It means a benign program is wrongfully flagged as malicious due to an overly broad detection signature or algorithm used in an antivirus program.
